WHO WE ARE
A Group of Caring Miramichiers
Miramichi Supports Ukraine was created in early 2022 when Vernon Goodfellow learned about the war in Ukraine and felt he had to do something about it.
He connected with other interested people in Miramichi and began to talk about ways they could help. With support from the Moncton Ukrainian Club, they learned how to start helping displaced Ukrainians.
Miramichi Supports Ukraine has since grown its membership to 15 executive members and over 30 other volunteers.

WHAT WE DO
Help Ukrainians Settle in Miramichi
Miramichi Supports Ukraine (MSU) coordinates resources to create a welcoming and supportive community for Ukrainians in need of refuge.
The key objectives of the group focus on housing, transportation, employment, education, and other immediate needs. We provide newcomers from Ukraine the support and guidance they need to become established members of our community.
We also financially contribute towards basic necessities such as food, clothing, etc.
